Class Information page
Use this page to set up each class, including the class start and end date, total sessions, instructor, and training location. If you also specify the number of students allowed in the class, a warning displays when you enroll a student if the class is at capacity .
Note: If you have more than one employer in your system and a Training Employer is not designated, when you click you will be prompted to select an employer for which to add the class. Make your selection and click .

Note: The items marked with an asterisk (*) in the following table originate from the Courses code table.

Course Description |
Displays the course description. |
Course Code |
Displays the code for this course. |
Course Type |
Displays the type of course. |
Certification* |
Displays the certification associated with the course, if any. |
Class ID |
Displays the class ID number, which is the next available number. You can change this to any number that has not already been assigned to a class. |
Class Status |
Select the current status of the class, which is initially set to Open for Enrollment. |
Credits* |
Displays the number of credits received by each employee completing the class. |
CEU* |
Displays the number of Continuing Education Units received by each employee completing the class. |
Course Fee* |
Displays the fee charged to each student (or organization) that takes the course. |
Other Fees* |
Displays the amount of other fees charged to each employee (or organization) that takes the course. |

Start Date |
Enter the date the class starts. |
End Date |
Enter the date the class ends. |
Enroll By |
Enter the date by which employees must enroll. |
Total Sessions |
Displays the total number of times the class meets. (This originate from the Courses code table.) |
Start Time |
Enter the time of day that each class session starts. |
End Time |
Enter the time of day that each class session ends. |
Total Hours |
Displays the total number of hours the class takes to complete. (This originate from the Courses code table.) |
Instructor |
Select the instructor's name. |
Location |
Select the training location description. |
Capacity |
Displays the total number of employees that can be enrolled in the class. (This originate from the Training Locations code table.) |
Days |
Select the check boxes for every day of the week that a class session meets. |
Check for Conflicts |
Click this button to see whether this class conflicts with any others with the same instructor or training location. It also checks to see whether employees on the Class Roster with a status of Enrolled or In Progress are enrolled in conflicting classes.

Fixed Costs |
Type the fixed costs for the class costs (the portion that stays the same regardless of the number of students enrolled in the class), |
Budgeted Costs |
Type the total costs budgeted for the class. |
Actual Costs |
When the class is complete, type the total actual costs for the class. |
Class Rating |
When the class is complete, select the overall rating given to the class by the students that attended. |
Instructor Rating |
When the class is complete, select the rating given to the instructor by the students that attended. |
