Transferring pay history
After a payroll is processed in Sage 100, you can use Sage 100 Payroll Link to transfer the pay history for a date range from Sage 100 Payroll to Sage Employee Self Service so employees can view their pay stub information.
The format of the pay stub information depends on whether Paperless Office is installed:
- If Paperless Office is set up in Sage 100 and PDF All is selected for Paperless Office Output in Payroll Check Printing, the pay stub information is in a PDF file. In Employee Self Service, the employee clicks
in the View Stub column. - If Paperless Office is not set up in Sage 100, the pay stub information is displayed in a window instead. In Employee Self Service, the employee clicks
in the Preview column.
Before you start
- Complete all setup steps for Sage 100 Payroll Link.
- Enter all necessary payroll information on the Sage 100 Payroll Setup window for the employees whose pay stub information you want to transfer.
- Process payroll in Sage 100 Payroll.
To transfer pay history from Sage 100 Payroll to Employee Self Service:
- In Sage 100 Payroll Link, select the Sage HRMS Employer whose employee pay history you want to transfer.
- Select . The date of the last transfer is displayed at the bottom of the window.

On the Pay History tab in the Report Options section, select the Audit report check box.
Note: Sage Employee Self Service must be installed for this tab to appear.
- In the Transfer Options section:
- For Check Date Range, select the beginning and ending dates of the pay information to transfer.
- Select either:
- Transfer Pay History Not Previously Transferred for that date range.
- Transfer All Pay History, which will overwrite any previously transferred pay history for that date range.
- To check the transactions before transferring the data:
- Clear the Transfer Pay History check box.
- Click .
- The Pay History Audit report opens with a list of the employees whose pay stub information is queued to transfer. Review this information and make any necessary corrections in Sage 100 Payroll.
- To perform the transfer:
- Select the Transfer Pay History check box.
- Click .
- A message informs you when the transfer is complete and includes the number of pay history transactions. Click .
- Review the Pay History Audit report opens after the transfer is complete. This report shows a list of the employees whose pay stub information was transferred. The report also shows the check numbers and check dates.
