Setting Up Earnings and Deductions
You can use the Earning/Deduction Codes setup window to:
- View existing earning/deduction default information.
- Add earnings, deductions, and accruals, including:
- Earnings of all types (such as salaries, wages, and tips)
- Deductions of all types
- Benefits (cash and noncash)
- Advances (cash and noncash)
- Accruals (such as vacation, sick time, paid time off, and compensatory/banked time)
- Associate deductions with earnings to allow the deductions to be allocated the same as the associated earnings.
- Associate accruals with earning codes.
- Change or delete certain earning/deduction/accrual information.
- Import and export setup codes for earnings, deductions, and accruals.
