Using the Timecards Report
Information on the report
- Employee number and full name.
- Timecard number, description, and status.
- The employee's times late in the pay period.
- Earning/deduction information entered for the pay period.
- Tax overrides for the pay period.
- Total hours for regular and shift earnings, total hours for vacation, sick, and compensatory/banked time paid and accrued, and total amounts for vacation, sick, and compensatory/banked time paid.
To print the report
- From Payroll Transaction Reports, select Timecards.
- At the Report Format field, choose the format in which to print the report:
- Detail. Shows the details of each timecard listed.
- Summary. Shows the totals only of each timecard listed.
- Listing. Shows only the header information (period end date, times late, reusable, and so on) of each timecard listed.
- Enter the range of employees to print at the Employees From and To fields.
- In the Timecard field, you can select to report a particular timecard.
- In the Type field, choose to include all timecards, reusable only, or non-reusable only timecards on the report.
- In the Sort Details By, choose to sort by either the line numbers or by the earning/deduction/tax code.
- If you want to include the employees in a selection list, choose that selection list.
- Choose whether to include Active and Inactive timecards on the report.
- Choose whether to print descriptions of the general ledger accounts on the report.
- If you have defined optional fields in payroll for timecards, choose whether to include the optional fields on the report.
- Click Print.
- When finished, click Close.
