Using the Earns/Deds for T4A/R2 Summary Report

Print this report to review amounts for each employee assigned earnings and deductions with T4A and/or RL-2 reporting set up.

Information on the report

After making your selections (year, earning/deduction categories, employees or employee range, and so on), the following is displayed on the report:

  • Earnings and deductions that are set up with T4A or R2 Reporting (Setup > Earning/Deduction Codes > Employee tab).
  • Employee and employer calculation methods for each earning/deduction.
  • Employee number and full name of each employee to whom the earning/deduction was applied.
  • Dollar amounts calculated for the employee for the earning/deduction and dollar amounts calculated for the employer, when applicable.

You can print the report for a range of earning/deduction codes, a selection list or a range of employee numbers.

If you sort by class, the report shows data associated at posting with the selected class code or range of class codes for the selected employees.

To print the report

  1. From Transaction Reports,select Earns/Deds for T4A/R2 Summary.
  2. Enter a check date range for which to print the report.
  3. Choose a range of employees for whom to print the report. If you want to include the employees in a selection list, choose that selection list.
  4. Click Print.
  5. When finished, click Close.
