This is the first page of the Life Events wizard, where you enter the date of your life event.

Event |
Displays the type of life event that you selected on the Life Events page. |

Event Date |
Enter the date of your life event. You can either type the date in MM/DD/YYYY format or click the calendar icon and select a date. |

Remaining Days |
Displays the number of days remaining that you can change your benefit elections and submit this life event for approval. This number changes based on the Event Date and the current date. Note: You can save your information in this wizard and come back later to complete it. However, be sure to complete the pages in the wizard and submit your life event within the required time frame. |

Benefits Effective Date |
Displays information about when the benefit changes will be effective—the actual event date of the event or the first day of the month following the event. |
