Mapping organization codes to department codes
You must map Sage HRMS organization codes to Sage 100 Payroll department codes before transferring information using Sage 100 Payroll Link.
Tip: Even if you do not use departments in Sage 100 Payroll, you must set up at least one department for all employees, such as a simple department using code 00.
Note: You can map only one Sage HRMS organization code to one Sage 100 department code.
Before you start
- Review the organization levels in Sage HRMS ( , then the Organization Titles tab).
- Print the Organization Codes report in Sage HRMS ( ).
- Print the Department Codes report in Sage 100 ( ).
To map organization codes to department codes:
- In Sage 100 Payroll Link, select the Sage HRMS Employer (in the upper-right corner of the window).
- Select .
- In the Organization window, click .

In the Map Organizations window:
- For Sage HRMS Organization Code, select an organization level from the drop-down list. These are the organization levels set up for the employer in HRMS.
- From the drop-down list, select the corresponding Sage 100 Payroll Department Code.
- Click .
- Repeat steps 3 - 5 for each organization code.
After mapping the organization levels
Review the audit reports to verify the codes that are mapped and see if there are any codes that were not mapped.
- In the Report Options section (lower-left corner of the window), select Mapped codes and Unmapped codes.

.The reports open. You can save or print them for review.
