Mapping job codes to labor codes
You are not required to map Sage HRMS job codes to Sage 100 Payroll labor codes. However, if you map any job codes, you must map all of the job codes.
Note: You can map only one Sage HRMS job code to one Sage 100 Payroll labor code.
Before you start
- You must enable validation of job codes in Sage HRMS:
- Select .
- On the HR Options tab for Job Code Validation, select .
- Click .
- Print the Job Codes report in Sage HRMS ( ).
- Print the Labor Codes report in Sage 100 ( ).
To map job codes to labor codes:
- In Sage 100 Payroll Link, select the Sage HRMS Employer (in the upper-right corner of the window).
- Select .
- In the Set Up Job window, click .

In the Map Job window:
- Select the Sage HRMS Job Code.
- Select the corresponding Sage 100 Payroll Labor Code.
- Click .
- Repeat steps 3 - 5 for each job code that should be associated with a labor code in Payroll.
Note: Job Titles do not transfer.
After mapping the codes
Review the audit reports to verify the codes that are mapped and see if there are any codes that were not mapped.
- In the Report Options section (lower-left corner of the window), select Mapped codes and Unmapped codes.
