Exporting in XML Format

If this is the first time you are exporting in XML format, you will need to determine a location to export the file to.

To export in XML format

  1. Open the Export dialog box from the Sage HRMS Payroll window that you wish to export data from (that is, click Export in the File menu).
  2. Select XML from the drop-down list in the Type field, then click the Browse button to choose a location for the exported file.
  3. Highlight a folder in which to store the exported file, type a file name, and click Save.
  4. You return to the Export dialog box. The file name and location path appear in the File field.

  5. Click OK to begin the export.

    When the export is finished, you receive a message about the number of records exported.

  6. Click Close in the message to return to the original window.

You can view exported files and edit them by double-clicking the file name in the Windows Explorer.
