Employee user licenses

Each employee logon counts as a user license seat. Based on the HRMS Employee Self Service installation code, the system must verify if the number of user license seats has been met or exceeded.

The system compares the number of Active or Locked logons to the number of allowed license seats based on the installation code. If the number of allowed license seats has been met or exceeded, the person trying to log on will receive a message that the number of user licenses has been met.

To enable more logons, do one or more of the following:

  • Purchase additional seats by contacting Customer Service.
  • Delete logons to free up existing license seats; see Delete Logon. (You must be logged on as the Master User to delete users.)
  • Remove invalid logons to free up existing license seats. This is a Network System Administrator function (refer to the HRMS Employee Self Service Installation and Setup Guide for instructions).
