About G/L Options Account tab

This tab lets you change settings that determine how accounts are processed in the General Ledger.

You would usually change account settings only after Year-End closing.

Options on this tab include:

• Use Account groups. Whether you will assign each account to a group. 
• Default closing account. You close income and expense accounts at year end to this account.
