Entering and Processing Payroll
After you have set up Sage HRMS Payroll, follow these steps each time you process payroll:
- Add or update employee records in Sage HRMS.
- Use the Process Payroll Map task (from the navigation pane, select Payroll > Process Payroll) to:
- Open Payroll to update new or changed employee records
- Import Timesheet (optional)
- Distribute Earnings (U.S. Payroll only)
- Timecard List
- Calculate Payroll
- Process Time Off
- Print and post payroll checks
- Create the EFT file
