Performance vs. Longevity
The Performance vs. Longevity analysis enables you to compare employee performance based upon length of employment.
In other words, you can analyze how well newly hired employees are performing
versus employees with more seniority.
In this analysis, the performance rating is the tool used to measure performance. You can establish a rating
code for an employee during the Pay and Performance Review task. Sage HRMS uses the Rating code table
to determine the number of rating codes you can use. The Sage HRMS
enterprise level provides six rating codes (codes 1 through 6); however,
you can define a different number of rating codes for each employer.
The analysis divides the length of employment into four categories:
less than six months, six months to one year, one year to five years,
and over five years. The basis for determining the length of employment
for an employee is the original hire date, which you provide when you
add a new hire.
