Benefit Elections - Links and Attachments page

Use this page of the Benefit Elections wizard to describe the plan and include two links that the employee can access when they enroll in this plan. For example, you could link to your company's Benefits Handbook or link to the Medical and Dental Provider Network website. Links are displayed in the Instructions section.

This page includes two sections so you can have separate plan descriptions and link information for:

  • Open Enrollment: The plan description and links are visible when the employee enrolls in this plan during open enrollment.
  • Life Events: The plan description and links are visible when the employee enrolls in this plan during a life event

Note: Before you attach files and links, they must have already been set up. See Custom file links for instructions.

Item Description

Plan description

Type a description (no more than 150 characters) for this election.

This description displays to the employee on the Benefits page when they enroll in this plan.

Example: For a medical insurance plan that is a 100% / 70% PPO plan, you could type This is the 100/70 PPO medical plan.

Reference 1,

Reference 2

Select a link from the list that employees can use to view additional information about the plan. The reference list contains all the file links and web links that were set up.

Description 1,

Description 2

Displays the description of the selected link (that was specified when the link was created).

Type 1,

Type 2

Displays whether the selected link is a file link or a web link.

 

 

When you finish entering the information, click Finish to save your changes and return to table on the Benefit Elections page.
