Company Profile Field List
A code of up to 6 characters that the system administrator assigns to a new system or company. You cannot change the ID after the company has been set up.
Use this field to record the commonly used name of your company.
This name can be different from the legal (registered) name.
Use this field to record the registered name of your company.
Type the company address, up to four lines. Each line can have up to a maximum of 60 characters.
Type the name of the city where the company is located, using up to a maximum of 30 characters.
Type the name of the state or province where the company is located, using up to a maximum of 30 characters.
Type the zip or postal code where the company is located, using up to a maximum of 20 alphanumeric characters.
Type the name of the country where the company is located, using up to a maximum of 30 characters.
Type the name of a general contact person or position in the company, using up to a maximum of 60 characters. This contact is useful if you maintain separate accounting records for more than one company or division. Note that you can change the contact name in subledgers.
Type the name of the company, up to 60 characters, as you want it to display on reports, financial statements, customer statements, and invoices. The company name can include letters, digits, symbols, or punctuation marks.
Select this option if you want all 10-digit phone and fax numbers formatted with standard parentheses and hyphens, for example (555) 980-7867. Do not select this option if you use longer phone or fax numbers, or need additional punctuation.
Type the general contact phone number for your company, up to a maximum of 30 characters.
You can have different phone numbers in each subledger, but if the Format Phone Number field is selected in the Company Profile, it must also be selected in General LedgerSage HRMS Payroll. If the option is not chosen in the Company Profile, then it must not be chosen in those subledgers.
Type the general contact fax number for your company, up to a maximum of 30 characters.
Select the number of fiscal periods on the company calendar.
- Select 12 if your fiscal year is divided into calendar months.
- Select 13 if your fiscal year is divided into 4-week periods.
If you select 13, you must also select the quarter with 4 periods.
The Sage HRMS Payroll system checks this setting to determine whether to display a warning, an error message, or nothing when a user enters a transaction, or posts to a locked fiscal period.
This option does not affect Data Integrity checks or your ability to save bank records.
Type the number of days before or after the session date in which you can enter a transaction date without receiving a warning. This option prevents accidental entry of incorrect dates. If you want to be warned less often, type a large number, such as 999.
The Sage HRMS Payroll system checks this setting to determine whether to display a Warning, an Error message, or Nothing when a user enters a General Ledger account number that has been flagged as inactive.
The Sage HRMS Payroll system checks this setting to determine whether to display a Warning, an Error message, or Nothing when a user enters a general ledger account number that has not been set up in General Ledger.
If your country requires Value Added Tax (VAT) reporting, type the location type code (6 characters) and the location code (up to 30 characters).
If you wish, you can type 6-character codes for country and branch.
This field cannot be edited and has no impact on your company information or profile.

In Sage HRMS Payroll, exchange gains and losses that arise during revaluation may be treated as permanent or temporary, depending on the exchange Gain/Loss Accounting Method you specify for your Sage HRMS Payroll system. This method affects the revaluation of documents in the revaluation of monetary balances denominated in nonfunctional currencies in General Ledger

All exchange gains or losses arising upon settlement of documents are considered permanent, and they are included in income for the period in which you post them, regardless of the method you choose.
