Using the Federal Tax Filing Reports

You can use this window to view and complete federal tax forms for the purpose of printing or eFiling.

Before you start

  • Before approving these federal forms for submission to the government, be sure you have processed and posted all payrolls for the quarter.
  • If an employee resides in a foreign country, you must enter the full name of the country in the Country field of the Employee Payroll window.

To print the report

  1. From Government Reports, select Federal Tax Filing.
  2. Select the federal tax form to file.
  3. Depending on the filing frequency of the report you select, enter the Period and/or Year of the tax form you want to file as applicable.
  4. Click the Display button. Sage Payroll Tax Forms and eFiling by Aatrix launches the Forms Wizard in another window where you can make further edits to the form and choose to print or eFile.

Note: If you are viewing a report for the first time this year, you may be required to complete the Sage Payroll Tax Forms and eFiling by Aatrix Company Wizard, a window for you to confirm or enter your default company information for the tax forms.

  5. When you are finished, click Close.

To review historical forms

Click on the History button, and another window will open with forms you have completed in the past. This button launches a Sage Payroll Tax Forms and eFiling by Aatrix window in which you can view and edit tax filing forms you have previously completed using Sage Payroll Tax Forms and eFiling by Aatrix. You are not required to use the eFiling service in order to view and print your tax forms.
