Register your Software
When you install Sage HRMS, you must register your software by entering your serial number and installation code. This information identifies the modules and links you purchased. Based on this information, the system can install and initialize all the correct programs and options for your system.
If you do not have your serial number and installation code, contact Sage Customer Service.
You also register when you want to add another option, link, interface, or module to your system. For example, if you initially purchased only Sage HRMS and now you want to add U.S. Payroll or Canadian Payroll, you must re-register with a new installation code that includes the payroll modules.
After you change the installation code, you must relaunch Sage HRMS.
To register your software
Note: Before starting the re-registration process, make sure that no users attempt to log on during the process.
- Log on to Sage HRMS as the MASTER user (or a member of the MASTER user group).
- Select
> Register Sage HRMS.
- Enter your serial number and installation code.
- If you want to add links to integrated applications, such as for Sage 100 Payroll Link, Sage 100 Premium G/L Export (Payroll systems only), Sage X3 G/L (Payroll systems only), select the appropriate check boxes.
- Click to complete the registration.
- If you changed the installation code, re-launch Sage HRMS and then log on.
The navigation pane reflects the new options and modules you registered. If you selected to install the links for Sage 100 Premium G/L Export, Sage X3 G/L, they are accessed from .
- Review your user and group security and make any necessary changes for the new options or applications you installed to keep your system secure.
