Using the navigation pane

The navigation pane is on the left side of your Sage HRMS desktop. It provides easy access to tasks and processes in the program.

Note: Groups, tasks, and processes to which you do not have security access do not display on the navigation pane.

Hierarchy in the navigation pane

There is a hierarchy in the navigation pane. You need to select items in the following order.

  1. Group near the bottom of the navigation pane, such as Employees, Time Off, Training, and Reports
  2. Subgroup near the top of the navigation pane. You don't have to click on a subgroup to access the corresponding menu items, but you can scroll or expand/collapse the list of menu items in a subgroup by pressing upward-pointing arrow or downward-pointing arrow.
  3. Menu item in the subgroup.
