Family Medical Leave Act (U.S. only)

The Family Medical Leave Act, effective as of August 5, 1993, requires employers to provide up to 12 unpaid work weeks during any 12 month period for qualifying events and eligible employees. For each employee that requests and takes an FMLA leave of absence, Sage HRMS tracks the FMLA information the law requires.
