Example: Add a Submenu to a Menu

You want to add a submenu called My Details to the Details Menu in Sage HRMS.

  1. Select Setup > System > Customize Menu.
  2. From the Product field drop-down list, select HR.
  3. From the Activity field drop-down list, select Detail.
  4. From the Detail drop-down, select All.
  5. From the Submenu field drop-down list, select All.
  6. Click Add. The Customize Submenu dialog box opens.
    1. In the Submenu field, enter My Details.
    2. Leave the Status Bar Message blank to default to the submenu name.
    3. Click OK to save your changes.
  7. Add new or existing items to the submenu.
  8. When done, click OK.
  9. Select Yes to rebuild your system files. When the process is complete, log on to Sage HRMS to view your customizations.
