Change the Order of Items on a Menu

Custom Details enables you to change the order of items on the Sage HRMS menus. You can change the order of the following:

  • Tasks and steps within tasks
  • Processes, Analyses, Rules, and Pages
  • Report groups and reports within the groups

To Change the Order of Items on a Menu

  1. Select Setup > System > Customize Menu. The Customize Menu page opens.
  2. From the Product field drop-down list, select a product, for example, HR.
  3. In the Activity field drop-down list, select an activity, for example Details.
  4. In the list box on the right, click the button next to the item you wish to move and drag the item to the new location. Continue moving items as needed.
  5. When you are finished, click OK to save your changes.
  6. Select Yes to rebuild your system files.

Note: When you change the order of items on the Details menu, the order of the buttons on the Details toolbar changes accordingly.
