Set Employee File Numbers for ADP

ADP PC Exchange refers to employees primarily by their file numbers. When you start Sage HRMS Link, it automatically populates the Employee File Numbers translation table with the Sage HRMS Employee ID for each employee and the identical number for the ADP code.

If your ADP system’s employee file numbers are not equivalent to the Sage HRMS Code, you must update the translation table with the ADP code for each employee accordingly.

For example: The Sage HRMS Employee ID is nine characters in length while the ADP Employee File Number is six characters. Therefore, make sure your Employee File Numbers translation table contains unique ADP file numbers associated with each Sage HRMS Employee ID.

Note: When you add a new employee in Sage HRMS, Sage HRMS Link automatically adds the new Employee ID to the Employee File Numbers translation table.
