Sage HRMS Link is an application to import and export information in and out of Sage HRMS. It is designed to let you easily transfer your personnel, payroll, and company data to and from Sage HRMS, Time Off, Sage HRMS Train, and Sage Employee Self Service.
Sage HRMS and Sage HRMS Link share databases and tables. When you set up Sage HRMS, databases are automatically established to store all necessary employee and system information. You also set up rules, such as code tables, that instruct the Sage HRMS components how to manage information. Because these databases and rules are shared, you do not have to re-establish them in Sage HRMS Link.
Each time you use Sage HRMS Link, it keeps track of all the imports and exports you perform. Using the reports provided with Sage HRMS Link, you can review the entire process.
Sage HRMS Link uses templates to transfer data. A template is a set of parameters or selected variables used for importing or exporting ASCII files. It might help to think of a template as a map of the data fields which will be used when moving data through Sage HRMS Link.
