Example:  To Add a Button to the Quick Launch Toolbar

You want to add a button for Sage Fixed Assets using your own bitmap as the program icon for Sage Fixed Assets.

1. Select Setup > System > Customize Menu.
2. From the Product field drop-down list, select System.
3. From the Activity field drop-down list, select Quick Launch Toolbar.
4. Select All from the Button drop-down list. All the buttons on the toolbar are displayed in the list on the right.
5. Click Add. The Customize Buttons dialog box opens.
   1. Enter Sage Fixed Assets in the Button field.
   2. Click OK to save your changes and close the dialog box.
6. From the Button drop-down list, select the Sage Fixed Assets button. All the icons associated with the button appear in the list on the right. Initially, there are none.
7. Click Add. The Customize dialog box opens.
   1. Enter Sage Fixed Assets in the Title field.
   2. Select Sage Fixed Assets.BMP from the Bitmap drop-down list.
   3. Click the More button to open a file selection dialog box. Locate and select C:\WINFAS\WINFAS.EXE file for the program you want the icon to launch, then click OK.
8. Click OK to save your changes and close the dialog box. Sage Fixed Assets appears in the icons list.
9. Rebuild system files as needed.
10. Click OK. The Sage Fixed Assets button displays in the toolbar.
