Using Timecard List

You can use the Timecard List window (in Payroll > Tasks > Process  Payroll map) to find timecards and view them in a list. You can then select a timecard from the list and copy, delete, print, or display the selected timecard in detail.

From this list window, you can also open the Timecards window to create a new timecard.

Note: The steps provided in this help topic describe the navigation in the Sage HRMS desktop product and may be different in the premium web version of Sage HRMS.

To Look Up Timecards

  1. Select Payroll >  Tasks> Process Payroll> Timecard List.
  2. Enter the known criteria for your existing timecard.
    • Timecard. Type the timecard number or click the Finder to select a timecard for viewing.
    • Type. Select the type of timecard you want to display.
    • Period End Date. If you selected Non-reusable Timecards in the Type field, you can specify a period end date.
    • Active/Inactive. Use these check boxes to display only active or inactive timecards, or both types.
  3. Click the Go Go buttonGo button button or press F7.

    The window then displays a list of timecards that match the criteria you entered.

  4. You can then select a timecard from the list and do the following:
    • Change the status and description of a timecard. The changes are saved when you Close the window.
    • Open the timecard in detail.
    • Create a Newtimecard.
    • Delete the timecard.
    • Copy the timecard.
    • Print the timecard.
    • Delete All timecards in the list.

Note: When you open the Timecards window from Timecard List, the Copy button on the Timecards window is disabled.
