Class
Select the class number for which to enter or edit class codes.
Click the down arrow beside the field, highlight your choice, then press . The Class allows you to set up codes for up to four classes that can then be used to organize, sort, and select data in your payroll database.
Class Code
Enter up to six letters or numbers to identify the code.
For example, you may create different class codes of NW, SE, and so on for different locations, allowing you to print reports and process payroll by location if you decide to use locations as your class codes.
Tip: Use the Insert key on your keyboard to quickly add new lines in the Class Code table.
Description
You can enter a description for each class code of up to 20 characters. The Class Code Description is for informational purposes only.
