Class Codes and Schedules Tab
You can use the Employee Payroll Class Codes and Schedules (Class/Schd) tab to:
- Assign the employee's
status (Active, Inactive, or Terminated).
- Specify the employee's
position and supervisor.
- Verify or edit the number
of times the employee has arrived late to work.
- Identify the language
in which the employee's paychecks are printed.
- Assign default overtime
and shift differential schedules, class codes, work classification code,
and a default workers' compensation group and code.
- Specify
the employee's province of employment and RPP number.

To assign default schedules and workers' compensation code
Select the schedules and the workers' compensation code from the Finder. The system uses the schedules and workers' compensation code to calculate
payroll and report on Workers' Compensation. You can override codes when you
enter timecards.
To assign class codes
From the Finder, select a code to assign to the employee for each class
you want to use. You can use classes to:
- Sort reports
- Select data to display
on reports
- Sort and select employees
for processing
