Time Off page
This page contains:
- Tiles on the left showing your various time off plans and their balances.

A calendar showing the days you requested time off.
The color of the rectangle or triangle on the calendar corresponds to the time off plan color in the tile. A rectangle indicates a full day (8 or more hours), and a triangle indicates a partial day. If the time off request was approved or taken, the shape is filled with the plan color. If the time off request is pending (waiting for approval) or rejected, only the border shows the plan color.
Hover over a day on the calendar to see more information about the time off request in a hover window.
To request time off:
- Either click Request Time Off or click the day you want to take off on the calendar.

In the Time Off Requests window:
- For Plan, select the time off plan from the drop-down list.
- For First Day Off and Last Day Off, enter the date of the first day and the last day you plan to take off. You can type the date (in MM/DD/YYYY format) or click the calendar icon to select the date.
- For Total Hours, type the number of hours you will take off.
- (Optional) For Start Time and End Time, enter the start time and end time of your time off.
- (Optional) For Comments, type any information that you want to record about the time off request.
- Click Save.
- A message displays saying your time off request was submitted. To close the message window, click (the Close icon).
Your time off request is sent to your manager for approval. Also:
- The time off calendar is updated with your request.
- The request is added to the table on the Details page for the time off plan.
To see your time off balances:
There is a tile on the left side of the page for each of your time off plans. The tile shows:
- The color used by that plan in the calendar
- The name of the plan
- The Details link
- Your balance in the plan as of the specified date (the last date that your administrator ran the accruals process)
- The number of hours you requested since that date
To see more details about a plan, click the Details link. The top of the page now shows information about how the balance of that plan was calculated, including the hours carried over from the prior year, accrued, taken, and requested.
The page also displays a table of your time off requests for that plan, including the dates, hours, and status of the requests.
You can see the details of another time off plan by clicking its tile on the left side of the page.
To change a time off request:
Depending on the status of the time off request, you may be able to change it from the table on the Details page.
- Click (the Edit icon) at the end of the row.

In the Time Off Requests window, make your changes.
Note: If you do not want to make changes, click (the Close icon) to exit.

Click Save.
Note: If you decide not to save the changes, click Discard Changes instead.
- A message displays saying your changed request was submitted. To close the message window, click (the Close icon).
- Click (the Delete icon) at the end of the row.
- In the delete confirmation window, click OK.
If you cannot edit or delete the request, you can still view details of the request, by clicking (the View icon) at the end of the row.
