Change Logon page
Use this page to view or change your username, password, or security question (if set up by your administrator).
You can also use the Change Logon page to do the following:
- Register an Authenticator app on your mobile device
- Select your Default Language
- Select the Clear All Trusted Devices button if your system allows you to remember a device
To change your logon credentials:

On the Change Logon page, review the logon requirements for your username and password:
- To change your username, type the new username for Username. This is not case sensitive.
- To change your password, type the new password for Password and for Confirm Password.

To change your security question or answer, select the question from the Security Question list and then type the answer for Security Answer.
Note: You may be able to create your own security question. Select Write my own question from the Security Question list, type the question for Custom Security Question, and then type the answer for Security Answer.

Click Save.
The next time you want to access HRMS Employee Self Service, you must use these new logon credentials.
An Authenticator app is required when Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) Authentication is enabled in HRMS Employee Self Service. You may register an authenticator app from the Change Logon page if you have lost your phone or bought a new one.
- When TOTP Authentication is enabled, a QR Code is displayed on the Change Logon page.
- Scan the QR Code to register your TOTP Authenticator app.
- Click Save.
The next time you want to access HRMS Employee Self Service, you must use your Authenticator app and enter the code generated by the app.
Tip: You can also register your Authenticator app from the HRMS Employee Self Service login page by clicking the Authenticator Help link.
To register an Authenticator app:
If your system administrator has enabled additional authentication such as a Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) Authentication, you may register an Authenticator app on your mobile device by scanning the QR Code on the Change Logon page.
- Click the Employee profile icon in the right corner of the title bar, and select the Change Logon link.
- Scan the QR Code to register your TOTP Authenticator app.
- Click Save.
To select your Default Language:

On the Change Logon page, populate all the required fields:
- Enter your password in the Password field if applicable.
- Enter your password in the Confirm Password field.
- Enter your Security Answer.
- Click the Default Language drop-down and select your Default Language.
- Click Save.
HRMS Employee Self Service will refresh and open either the Home page or the Message Center page depending on how your system administrator has configured ESS. HRMS Employee Self Service will now display page information in your Default Language. System data and user entered data will still display in English.
Warning! Changing your Default Language will reset the widgets on your Sage Employee Self Service Home page. All personalization is cleared.
To clear your trusted devices
The Clear All Trusted Devices button will only be displayed if you have selected the Remember This Device check-box on the Additional Authentication page when logging in.
- Click the Employee profile icon in the right corner of the title bar, and select the Change Logon link.
- Click the Clear All Trusted Devices button.
The Clear All Trusted Devices button is hidden after selecting it.
