Automatically approving enrollment

Use the Auto Approve Enrollment page to approve open enrollment status for all eligible employees without having to manually approve each employee separately on the Approve Enrollment page.

To automatically approve the open enrollment

  1. On the Administrator menu, select Benefit Updates > Auto Approve Enrollment.
  2. On the Benefit Updates > Auto Approve Enrollment page, select the Enrollment Period you want to approve. All periods with a status of In Progress are included in the list.
  3. Select the Automatically Approve check box if you want to approve all eligible employees without reviewing them beforehand. Otherwise, clear this check box so you can review the employees enrollments before approving them.
  4. Select the Pending Only check box if you want the system to automatically approve only those open enrollments whose status is Pending. If you clear this check box, all open enrollments, regardless of their status, are approved.
  5. Click Go.
  6. Depending on your selection in step 3:
    • If you selected to automatically approve, the system automatically approves all eligible employees.
    • If you did not select to automatically approve, the page displays all eligible employees for your review. Click Approve All to start the approval process.

    A message displays when the approval process is complete.

  7. Click Done.
