Strong passwords
To increase the security of your employees' user accounts, it is good practice to give them guidelines on how to create strong passwords.
A strong password:
- Is at least seven characters long.
- Does not contain your Username, real name, or company name.
- Does not contain a complete dictionary word.
- Is significantly different from previous passwords. For example, passwords that increment (such as password1, password2, password3) are not strong and could present your company with serious security issues.
